The Training Cave has provided two of our current pupils the opportunity to participate in their employability sessions with their post 16 learners, one of which is a previous pupil of ours who has recently left. On this occasion they had a motivational speaker attend to speak with the young people and here’s what The Training Cave had to say about the session;

“Top class employability session today, we had Ben Spence in giving a talk to our participants about his life, prison and business.

He spoke to them all about his youth offending, life in prison, mentors, mindset, turning his life around, meeting his wife, family, boxing, running his successful business and how his goals in life have changed along the way.

Ben’s a good friend of our gym, he’s a member and is always in contact with us regarding the young people that we work with.

This is a tough group to crack and every single one of them sat in silence for an hour whilst Ben spoke, hanging onto his every word.

He’s the first to admit that he hasn’t been an angel, but Bens turned things around massively. He’s a loving dad and is now running his own business, he’s the perfect example for people out there who might find themselves on the wrong path. You can always change.”
