Brian Jackson College were given the opportunity to hold a focus group with some young people in relation the proposed Mayor’s Police and Crime Plan. West Yorkshire Police and the Mayor were particularly keen to hear the voices of young people who have different lived experiences and challenges. Members of West Yorkshire Police and the Mayor’s team came to the colleges on Friday 19th November 2021 and held the focus groups with pupils. All pupils who participated engaged exceptionally well and gave constructive feedback to the questions asked regarding the future police and crime plan.

All participants received a £20 voucher from the organisers for their participation and it is to be said that this was truly deserved.
