During anti-bullying week, pupils at Brian Jackson College have this week been raising awareness of bullying and the impact bullying has on people’s life.

During PSHE this week we spoke about bullying and the impact it can have on individuals. The theme this year was ‘One Kind Word’; during the lesson students have to think of 5 kind words and add them to the display piece that we made. We spoke about the importance of being kind and how ‘one kind word’ could completely change someone’s day. The students discussed who to report bullying too, and important it is to speak out and seek help.
