In science pupils at Wellington House have been completing a unit on making a chemical product. This gave them the opportunity to have some fun and make volcanoes. The pupils’ made and painted the volcanoes in Art. Pupils’ then mixed acetic acid with bicarbonate of soda placed this inside the volcano and when the chemical reaction occurred it created a replica eruption.  Lots of fun and kept the pupils engaged for the whole lesson!
